Mental Health and Well-Being
The welfare of all members of our community is a key focus at Thomas Walling. In school we offer a wide range of resources to support children's mental health, from whole-class teaching of Zones of Regulation to counselling for individual children offered by Kalmer Counselling.
We also take the mental health and well-being of parents, carers and families in our community seriously. If you, or someone you know, is experiencing mental health problems, please ask to speak to a member of our Welfare team or a member of SLT.
Below you can find links to some useful websites for guidance on talking to your child about mental health as well as ways of looking after your own mental health.
