📣 KS2 Joke Competition – Can You Make Us Laugh? 🎤😂
We are on the hunt for our funniest and most confident joke tellers to represent Thomas Walling at the LST Oracy Event at The Stand!
Children in Years 3-6 are invited to take part in our school Joke Competition. The focus isn't just on telling a funny joke, but on how they perform it. We will be looking for children who can:
⭐ Speak clearly and confidently
⭐ Use expression and enthusiasm
⭐ Show good timing and use of pauses
⭐ Engage their audience with eye contact
⭐ Make us laugh!
Children are encouraged to find a short, school-appropriate, kind and respectful joke and practise telling it to family and friends at home.
🏡 Homework Challenge: "Find a Joke!"
Can your child find a joke and practise performing it to someone at home?
The winners from each year group will be invited to our school final after half term, with the chance to represent our school at the LST Oracy Event on 10th November at The Stand.
We can't wait to hear all of the brilliant jokes! 🎭🎤😂
